Conduct roadside breakdown repairs and diagnostics efficiently to ensure minimal vehicle downtime
Complete detailed digital job cards and work reports accurately for each intervention
Deliver exceptional customer service during roadside repairs, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude
Work collaboratively within the team to uphold safety, quality standards, and technical compliance
Stay current with manufacturer updates and technical training to ensure high standards of repair and diagnostics
Cover shifts on a rota basis, including evenings, nights, and weekends as requiredRequirements of a Mobile Breakdown Van Technician:
Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) in Vehicle Mechanics or Automotive Technology
Proven experience as a breakdown technician, roadside repair specialist, or mobile vehicle technician
Familiarity with commercial vehicles is desirable but not essential
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Responsible, self-motivated, and eager to develop further technical skills
