The Role:
* Transporting patients safely using wheelchairs, beds, and trolleys
* Moving medical equipment, supplies, and hospital goods as required
* Managing post, deliveries, and waste collection/disposal including clinical waste
* Supporting hospital staff with additional duties when required
* Providing reassurance and excellent customer service to patients and visitors
* Ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and professionally
* Working within hospital health & safety and hygiene procedures
The Requirements:
* Previous care or healthcare experience is essential
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Physically fit, as the role involves extensive walking and manual handling
* Comfortable dealing with challenging or upsetting situations
* Fully flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends
Hours: Full Time | Various shift patterns including:
6am -14.00 4 on 4 off
8am 16.00 5 days over 7
8am -8pm 4 days on 4 days off
8am -8pm Saturday & Sunday
Salary description
£12.71 - £13.14 per hour
