How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Finance Analyst – Immingham – c£46,200

    Chase & Holland are very excited to be working with one of Immingham's most prestigious companies in finding a Finance Analyst for a minimum 12 month contract. This is a great opportunity in a well-respected and successful business in an exciting newly created role.

    This role would suit an experienced accounting professional with strong analytical skills and previous experience within a varied finance environment. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis and operational accounting support across the business.

    Package includes c£46,200 per annum, 25 & BH, Pension, Hybrid and Flexible Working Options.

    Finance Analyst Key Responsibilities:
    Responsible for volumetric and revenue accounting on product movements across divisions
    Investigate out of tolerance gain/loss volumes and revenue variances
    Ensure key month-end closing activities and management accounts reporting are completed accurately
    Investigate balance sheet variances, including intercompany reconciliations
    Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis reports
    Develop and prepare monthly MI reporting pack
    Review and approve invoices for your division
    Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls
    Act as a key point of contact for FP&A teams regarding accounting transactions and queries
    Support internal and external audit requestsAbout You:
    Ideally part or fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA Accountant (or strong QBE)
    Previous experience in a varied accounting or finance analyst role
    Strong analytical and numeracy skills
    Good understanding of month-end reporting processes
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
