Duties of a Van Mechanic:
* Diagnose faults in vehicles manually or using digital tools/software
* Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts efficiently
* Prepare cost estimates and repair timelines
* Conduct vehicle servicing and maintenance
* Liaise with parts stores and suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels
* Update vehicle records in coordination with transport management
* Mentor apprentices and work experience candidates where applicable
* Ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards
Requirements of a Van Mechanic:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification as a Van Mechanic is preferred; however, relevant experience will be considered
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Willingness to undertake training and professional development
