A well-established building services and maintenance contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer to support a growing portfolio of commercial and public sector contracts across East Sussex.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer seeking long-term stability, strong overtime potential, and varied work across high-profile commercial sites.
The Role
Duties will include:
* Commercial gas PPM maintenance
* Reactive breakdowns and repairs
* Mechanical maintenance and pipe fitting works
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* Call outs and emergency response
* Quoted remedial works
* Minor installation works
* Occasional commissioning support

Requirements
* Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications
* Mechanical / Pipe Fitting experience
* Strong commercial maintenance background
* Good fault-finding skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
* PASMA / IPAF beneficial but not essential
Package
£22.00 – £25.00 per hour
Company van and fuel card
Gas analyser provided
Standard hand tools supplied
Paid travel time (30 mins deducted each way)

Hours
* 8am - 5pm
