We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced CNC Machinists on behalf of several well-established engineering and manufacturing companies across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available for skilled CNC Turners, CNC Millers, and Vertical/Horizontal Borers.
Roles Available:
* CNC Vertical Borers
* CNC Millers / Turners
* CNC Horizontal Borers
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating large CNC machinery
* Machining castings, forgings, and fabrications to tight tolerances
* Working with a variety of materials including carbon steel, duplex, stainless steel, copper, and titanium
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Using precision measuring equipment to ensure high-quality standards are met
* Carrying out on-machine programming where required
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a heavy engineering or precision machining environment
* Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
* Ability to work independently and from technical drawings
* Experience machining large components and working to tight tolerances
* Flexible and reliable approach to work
