How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Opportunity to transition into a permanent role
If you’re looking for stability, purpose, and progression — this is a brilliant next step.

    About the Role

You will be working within an Additionally Resourced Base (ARB) supporting pupils with a range of needs such as:

    Autism (ASC)
    Communication and interaction difficulties
    SEMH and regulation needs
    Your role will include:

    Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
Supporting routines, transitions and emotional regulation
Adapting activities to support access to learning
    Encouraging independence and confidence
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
Creating a calm, safe and structured environment

    Who This Role Would Suit

This role is ideal for someone who:

Has experience working in SEN, care, or support settings
Is calm, patient and emotionally resilient
Is confident supporting behaviour and routine
Enjoys working closely with individual pupils
    Wants a long‑term, meaningful role
The right attitude is just as important as experience.

    Why Work With Teaching Personnel?

    Full‑time, long‑term role with temp‑to‑perm opportunity
    Competitive weekly pay (PAYE only)
A dedicated local consultant (me!) supporting you throughout
Free CPD: SEN, behaviour, safeguarding & more
    Clear communication and ongoing support
Opportunity to secure a permanent position in school

    Location

    Truro area
Easily accessible from surrounding Mid‑Cornwall locations
