How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary Teachers – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
    September Start | Cambridgeshire

    Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Cambridgeshire to recruit fully qualified primary teachers for full-time and part-time positions starting in September.

    We are supporting schools with both long-term and permanent opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. These roles are ideal for teachers looking to secure a position ahead of the new academic year, whether you are seeking stability, progression, or the right school fit.

    A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the variety of school locations, but not essential.

    The Role
    As a Primary Teacher working through Teaching Personnel, you will:

    Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
    Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
    Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
    Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
    Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
    Contribute to a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment

    A Typical Day May Include

    Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
    Differentiating work to support pupils of all abilities
    Managing classroom behaviour effectively
    Marking work and providing clear, constructive feedback
    Supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
    Attending staff meetings and contributing to school life
    Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams

    Who We’re Looking For

    Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
    Essential: recent and relevant experience teaching in UK primary schools
    A confident and adaptable teaching approach
    Strong classroom management skills
    A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
