How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Technical Quality Engineer (TQA) - Aerospace
    Location: Fully Remote
    Salary: £50,000
    Sector: Aerospace / Advanced Manufacturing

    The Opportunity

    Our client, a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturing group, is seeking a Technical Quality Engineer (TQA) to join their central quality function. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a global, high-impact role, supporting multiple international sites while working 100% remotely.

    You will act as the technical quality expert, driving best practice, supporting audits and approvals, and influencing quality performance across the business.

    Act as the go-to technical expert for complex quality and engineering queries
    Support the rollout and standardisation of APQP across multiple sites
    Assist in maintaining and achieving NADCAP and customer approvals
    Conduct internal audits and support audit readiness activities
    Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions using structured methodologies
    Provide guidance on GD&T, CMM strategies, and inspection processes
    Support NPI and transfer of work (ToW) projects
    Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Inspection teams globally About You

    A strong background in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
    Experience within a highly regulated environment (ideally aerospace)
    Hands-on experience with APQP and quality planning tools
    Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards
    Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
    Experience with machining, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes
    Familiarity with CMM and inspection techniques (desirable)
    Strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, etc.)
    Excellent organisational and communication skills
