A caring and inclusive primary school in Kilburn is looking to appoint a compassionate and resilient SEN Support / Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The role:
Full-time SEN Support / Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant position
September start
Providing support to pupils both inside and outside the classroom
Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult for children
Supporting pupils with social, emotional and additional learning needs
Assisting with behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals
Helping create a calm, engaging and supportive learning environmentThe ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with children in schools, youth work, care, mentoring or similar settings
A patient, calm and nurturing approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence supporting children with a range of additional needs
