Spire Little Aston Hospital are looking for a Bank Chef to join our Catering team on a flexible bank basis. This role will cover annual leave, sickness and busy periods, with shifts available between 7am - 7pm, including some weekends.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef who enjoys working in a professional environment and delivering high-quality food and service to patients, staff and consultants.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Support with the preparation and cooking of meals
* Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors
* Assist with food orders and dietary requirements
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
* Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
* Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
* Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties
Who we're looking for:
Essential
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification
* Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
* Experience preparing meals for large numbers
* Good communication skills and a professional approach
* Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
