Our client are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join their business in Herford.
Key Skills required of the CNC Setter Operator:
* Must ahve a minimum of 5 years; experience of working in machining environment.
* Apprentice trained or engineering college educated.
* Ability to set and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
* Be able to read technical drawings.
* Experience of working to tight tolerances
* Ability to inspect own work.
* Ability to priorities tasks and to manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives.
* Using lifting equipment to load & un-load components.
* Ensure quality of work is accurate, thorough and neat.
* Ability to produce a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time.
* Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and willingness to learn.
The successful CNC Setter Operator will have experience of setting and operating CNC lathes and milling machines. Ideally have a good understanding of Fanuc controlled systems. In return my client are offering an market rate salary, free onsite parking, and other benefits to be discussed.
