A highly regarded and community-focused primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2026.

The successful Primary School Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through an important stage in their learning journey. The school places a strong focus on phonics, reading comprehension and vocabulary development, while also promoting creativity and pupil independence across the wider curriculum.

Key responsibilities for the Primary School Teacher include:
Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
Supporting progress in phonics, reading, writing and maths
Preparing pupils for end of KS1 assessment expectations
Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staffThe ideal Primary School Teacher will:
Hold QTS with recent UK primary teaching experience
Have strong KS1 curriculum knowledge
Demonstrate effective classroom management
Be organised, reflective and proactive
