How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Deputy SENCO Administrator - Secondary Education

    Location: North West London
    Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
    Contract: Full Time | Permanent

    A welcoming and inclusive secondary school is seeking a proactive and organised Deputy SENCO Administrator to join its established SEND and inclusion team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SEND administration, pastoral, education support, nursery SENCO, or student support experience who is passionate about helping young people access the support they need to succeed.

    The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO and wider pastoral team to support the smooth day-to-day running of SEND provision across the school, ensuring students, families, and staff receive high-quality support and communication.

    The Role

    The Deputy SENCO Administrator will provide operational and administrative support to the SENCO, helping coordinate SEND processes, student interventions, referrals, annual reviews, and communication with parents and external agencies.
    This is a varied and rewarding role within a collaborative school environment and would suit someone who enjoys organisation, relationship-building, and supporting inclusive education practice.Key Responsibilities

    Support the SENCO with the coordination and administration of SEND provision across the school
    Assist with EHCP reviews, referrals, annual review paperwork, and student documentation
    Maintain accurate SEND records, intervention tracking, and provision maps
    Liaise with parents, carers, external agencies, and pastoral teams regarding student support
    Support the organisation of meetings, reviews, and SEND-related communication
    Monitor student progress data and help track interventions and outcomes
    Provide pastoral and wellbeing support for students where required
    Work collaboratively with teaching staff, safeguarding teams, and Learning Support Assistants
    Support inclusive practice and contribute to positive outcomes for students with additional needsThe Ideal Candidate

    Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs
    Strong organisational and administrative skills
    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
    Experience within a school, nursery, college, alternative provision, or educational support setting
    A calm, proactive, and student-centred approach
    Confidence managing sensitive information and maintaining accurate records
    Ability to work effectively within a busy multidisciplinary environmentDesirable Experience

    Previous experience as a SEN Administrator, SENCO Administrator, Progress Coach, Learning Support Coordinator, or similar role
    Knowledge of EHCP processes and the SEND Code of Practice
    Experience liaising with external agencies and families
    Experience supporting safeguarding or pastoral processes
    Understanding of intervention tracking and SEND documentationWhat's on Offer
