EMBS Engineering has been instructed to acquire a talented Purchasing Manager to join a market-leading, well-established Aerospace engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of intricate components for world-leading organisations.
With an international presence, our client has a business portfolio that spans the biggest names in Aerospace and Defence.
Following year-on-year growth, our client is looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager to join their existing talented team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Liaising with all stakeholders across the business to understand project workflows and timelines on completion
* Understanding and tracking inventory
* Developing the purchasing/procurement function
* Day-to-day management of junior members of staff
* Implementation of a new ERP system
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
* Exceptional relationship management skills, working seamlessly with both internal departments and external suppliers
* A natural communicator who can navigate negotiations and influence stakeholders at all levels
* At least 5 years of experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* Deep understanding of purchasing, inventory, and logistics
* A flexible approach to fluctuating workloads, thriving in a high-pressure environment where deadlines are non-negotiable
* A results-oriented problem solver who stays calm under fire and delivers outcomes
