How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Finance Manager

    Manufacturing Sector

Dublin (Hybrid, 3 days per week at site)

Commutable for South & West Dublin and nearby County Kildare locations

Lead Cost Control. Drive Performance. Influence Strategy.

    €70,000 – 80,000 + bonus + pension + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to join a manufacturing business in Dublin. This is a senior role for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has a relentless focus on cost control, operational efficiency and margin protection.

This role sits at the heart of the manufacturing operation, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive profitability, strengthen financial controls and deliver real-time commercial insight that influences key operational decisions.

    What You’ll Be Responsible For:

    Site Finance & Manufacturing Performance

This is a hands-on finance leadership role supporting a busy manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on understanding what drives cost, efficiency and profitability across the site.

You will work closely with operational colleagues to provide clear financial insight into production performance, resource usage, stock movement, cost trends and margin delivery. The role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the operation and can turn financial data into practical recommendations.

Cost Insight, Stock & Margin Analysis

A key part of the role will be improving visibility of manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities to protect and enhance margin.

This will include reviewing production costs, stock values, usage patterns, efficiency measures and profitability trends, ensuring leaders have the information they need to make timely and commercially sound decisions.

    Operational Finance Partnering

You will act as a key finance partner to site and operational teams, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance reviews.

The successful candidate will be comfortable challenging assumptions, explaining financial performance clearly and working collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders to improve decision-making and accountability.

    Controls, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Alongside the commercial and operational finance focus, the role will also support strong financial control, accurate reporting, robust month-end processes and ongoing improvements to finance systems, processes and ways of working.

This is a role for someone who can balance detailed manufacturing finance analysis with broader commercial influence and practical operational support.

    What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)

    Strong experience within manufacturing finance

Deep understanding of standard costing and inventory accounting

Proven ability to partner operational leadership teams

ERP systems experience within a production/manufacturing environment

    Advanced Excel and analytical capability

Confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially driven Finance Manager with a deep understanding of working within manufacturing who wants to make a measurable impact on operational performance, cost reduction and strategic growth
