The Role - SEO Specialist
As SEO Account Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of client accounts, leading on strategy, reporting and ongoing performance improvement. You’ll act as a trusted partner to clients, providing clear recommendations and insights while identifying opportunities to expand and develop accounts further.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll remain actively involved in delivery while collaborating with internal specialists across content and development.
Key Responsibilities - SEO Specialist
* Manage and grow a portfolio of SEO client accounts
* Build and deliver tailored SEO strategies focused on business growth
* Lead client calls, reporting meetings and strategic discussions
* Monitor and improve SEO performance across traffic, leads and revenue
* Work closely with developers and content specialists to deliver campaigns
* Carry out technical SEO analysis and on-page optimisation recommendations
* Use tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush and Ahrefs to analyse performance
* Identify upsell and account growth opportunities
* Provide clients with clear, actionable insights and recommendations
* Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates and industry best practice
Your Background - SEO Specialist
* Previous experience within an SEO Account Manager or similar SEO-focused role
* Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy and on-page optimisation
* Experience managing multiple client accounts and priorities
* Confident communicating with clients and presenting performance insights
* Commercially minded with an understanding of SEO as a revenue-driving channel
* Experience using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush and Ahrefs
* Organised, proactive and solutions-focused approach
* Ambitious and keen to progress into a senior or leadership role over time
