We are currently recruiting a HGV Technician for our client in the Longcliffe, Derbyshire area. This role focuses on the repair, maintenance, and inspection of commercial vehicles within a professional fleet maintenance environment. You will work to high standards, follow DVSA guidance, collaborate effectively with the wider workshop team, and take pride in delivering safe, compliant, first-time fixes.

Role Overview - HGV Technician
•    Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs across a range of commercial vehicles
•    Diagnose faults and deliver efficient, high-quality repairs in line with DVSA standards
•    Support the scheduling of safety inspections and statutory obligations to ensure fleet compliance
•    Perform brake testing and road tests following repairs to confirm vehicles are safe and roadworthy
•    Maintain a clean workshop and accurate service and repair records to support safe, efficient operations

Requirements - HGV Technician
•    City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
•    Experience maintaining large vehicle fleets and working with specialist hydraulic systems
•    Valid Category C driving licence, or willingness to obtain one
