Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Material Control Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics team in Thornbury.
This is a varied warehouse-based role offering full training and long-term opportunities for candidates with previous warehouse experience and strong attention to detail.
Shift Pattern & Pay
Monday to Friday rotating shifts.
06:00 - 14:00.
12:00 - 20:00.
£13.91 per hour.
Overtime paid at premium rates.
Key Duties:
Receive, check, and book in materials against delivery notes.
Pick and issue materials for production, instruments, and marketing.
Carry out accurate stock picking and warehouse duties.
Support weekly inventory and stock management activities.
Assist departments with stock and non-stock queries.
Produce commercial invoices.
Carry out PAT testing duties following training.
Complete manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience essential.
Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience beneficial.
FLT licence preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
Good computer and system skills.
Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
Willingness to learn internal systems and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Own transport required due to location if not local to Thornbury.
