Our client, a well-established dealership in Sidcup, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This role offers excellent career development prospects and the chance to work with industry-leading vehicles using advanced diagnostic technology.
Key Benefits:
* Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
* OTE earnings of £60,000 or more annually
* Overtime paid at enhanced rates
* Monday to Friday working hours, from 8am to 5pm
* Saturday mornings on a rota, 1 in 4, from 8am to 12:30pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
* Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
* Conduct routine servicing and diagnose complex faults
* Complete repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections
* Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
* Advise customers on additional repairs and maintenance needs
* Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and maintain accurate workshop records as a Vehicle Technician
* Perform vehicle road tests and health checks
* Keep up-to-date with technical information and manufacturer updates through ongoing training
Requirements:
* IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
* Proven experience working within a professional automotive service environment
* Strong diagnostic and repair skills, capable of handling complex work
* Knowledge of working in a busy dealership environment is advantageous
* Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving licence and minimum 1 year’s driving experience
* Passionate about delivering high standards of customer service and workshop quality
