Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
* Carry out repairs and servicing on a wide variety of vehicles
* Diagnose issues accurately using the latest diagnostic tools
* Perform tasks such as clutch replacements, cambelt changes, and general repairs
* Maintain high standards of workmanship with meticulous attention to detail
* Complete work within manufacturer and industry standards
* Keep detailed records of jobs and communicate effectively with customers
* Assist in maintaining workshop cleanliness, health, and safety standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with competence in diagnostics, clutches, cambelts, and general repairs
* Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles is highly desirable
* MOT Tester certification or willingness to obtain it
* Strong diagnostic skills with familiarity with Bosch, Autel, and Snap-On equipment
* A positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team
* Full UK driving licence
* Relevant experience is essential; formal qualifications are not mandatory
