Project Manager

Exciting Opportunity for a Project Manager to join our well-established Marine Engineering client based in Newcastle.

Operating within the engineering sector, delivering complex projects with a focus on MOD and contractual engagements. Our client prides itself on quality, innovation, and a strong reputation within the industry.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Manage contractual obligations and liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance.

Oversee project planning, risk management, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.

Ensure all projects adhere to MOD and other contractual standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues and facilitate smooth project execution.

Prepare and manage project documentation and progress reports for senior management and clients.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the engineering sector.

Strong understanding of contracts management, specifically related to MOD projects.

Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.

Good knowledge of project management tools and software.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrable understanding of engineering principles and standards.
