Our client is a well-established printing company based in Rochdale who due to continued expansion are looking to add an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to their team. As a Print Operative, you’ll play a key role in creating high-quality products for our customers. The company is well established and prides themselves in the delivering a high-quality service to their clients.
The purpose of the role is;
* Operating both manual and semi-automatic machines, including 4-colour stack presses
* Monitoring machinery output to meet and exceed production targets
* Identifying and resolving print issues
* Optimising changeovers while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards
* Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and promoting safety
* Conducting shift handovers to ensure smooth production transitions, including briefing the next shift and checking machinery
The Person
* Ideally, you have experience in print, either flexographic, lithograph or gravure background
* NVQ in Print (desirable but not essential)
* High attention to detail and meticulous approach
* Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Basic computer skills
* Excellent timekeeping and attendance
* Flexibility to work a 2 shift pattern
