This is a key role responsible for ensuring all installation activities are completed safely, on time, within specification, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Production, Logistics, and Project Management teams, you will play a vital role in delivering projects from factory through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Installation Planning & Coordination
* Plan and schedule installation works in line with production completion and project timelines
* Coordinate labour, materials, logistics, and site access requirements
* Ensure installation programmes align with overall project delivery schedules
* Liaise with Project Managers to confirm site readiness before mobilisation
On-Site Installation Management
* Oversee all joinery installation activities from start to completion
* Ensure teams work to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
* Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, compliance, and workmanship
* Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delay
Quality Control & Handover
* Ensure all installed works meet required quality standards
* Conduct inspections, snagging walks, and client reviews
* Manage snagging completion and defect resolution
* Support final handover and client sign-off processes
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and site requirements
* Conduct risk assessments and enforce safe systems of work
* Promote a positive safety culture across teams and subcontractors
* Ensure all operatives are fully compliant and appropriately trained
Team & Subcontractor Management
* Manage installation teams and subcontract installers
* Allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and project demands
* Monitor performance and address any issues proactively
* Support ongoing training and development of installation personnel
Cross-Functional Coordination
* Work closely with Production and Project Management teams
* Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and programme impacts
* Communicate design or material issues affecting installation
* Escalate any risks impacting programme, cost, or client satisfaction
About You
* Proven experience managing joinery installation projects
* Strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality control
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and installation teams simultaneously
* Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
* Full UK Driving Licence preferred
