How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    An inclusive two-form entry community school, who work together to create a caring, vibrant environment in which every pupil can thrive are seeking to appoint an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
    This is a long-term post commencing Summer 2, 1st June 2026
    32.5 hours per week, term time only
    Key Responsibilities:
    * Support teaching across the school
    * Personal care (when needed)
    * Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including EHCP identified needs
    * Work with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted learning and intervention programmes
    * Assist the Class Teacher in the preparing and adapting learning activities
    * Be an integral part of the support team
    * Promote positive behaviour and inclusion, support pupil’s social and emotional development
    * Deliver personal care, where required, in line with school policies
    You Will Have:
    * A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
    * Understanding of the standards expected for Teaching Assistants and undertake any training relevant to the position
    * Proven experience of working with pupils with SEN in a primary school setting and have good knowledge of a range of SEN
    * Experience of working with primary aged children Strong communication and teamwork skills
    * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils’ wellbeing
