The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our Humanities faculty from September 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and rigorous Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global interdependence.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Deliver high-quality, well-sequenced lessons in line with curriculum and exam specifications
Develop students’ knowledge of physical processes, human systems, and geographical skills
Use data effectively to monitor, assess, and improve student outcomes
Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation within the Humanities department
Support fieldwork opportunities and enrichment activities
Provide effective feedback and intervention to ensure strong progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Geography
Experience teaching GCSE Geography (A-Level experience desirable but not essential)
A passion for fieldwork, environmental issues, and global geography
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners
The ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking
