How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An exciting opportunity has become available for an SEN Teacher - Edgware to join a specialist Post-16 provision on a full-time basis with an immediate start available.

    This full-time SEN Teacher - Edgware role is ideal for a passionate and adaptable teacher looking to make a meaningful impact working with young adults with additional needs in a specialist setting.

    The successful SEN Teacher - Edgware will work with students with autism and moderate learning difficulties, delivering a practical and engaging curriculum focused on life skills, communication, employability, and preparation for adulthood.

    About the Role

    The SEN Teacher - Edgware will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons that meet the varying needs of Post-16 learners within a structured and therapeutic environment.

    Daily responsibilities for the SEN Teacher - Edgware may include:

    Delivering functional English, Maths, and life skills sessions
    Preparing students for independent living and future employment
    Creating engaging and accessible learning opportunities
    Working closely with teaching assistants and therapists

    Requirements

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
    Previous experience working within SEN settings

    Experience with autism and MLD is highly desirable
