Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent garage in Hemel Hempstead, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This opportunity is ideal for experienced technicians seeking a role that offers stability, growth, and a supportive working environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will perform vital repair and maintenance tasks within a well-established business that values quality work and customer satisfaction.

Benefits:

Competitive salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm
Saturdays on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 2 or 3)
20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Conducting vehicle service checks and comprehensive repairs
Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment

Adhering to health and safety standards within the workshop
Supporting team colleagues as requiredRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Full UK driving licence
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
Relevant experience in an automotive workshop environment
Good working attitude and strong work ethic
Motivation to further develop technical knowledge and skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
