If you’re experienced in arrears, recoveries, or litigation within financial services, this Litigation and Recoveries Specialist opportunity offers the chance to manage complex cases where your judgement and commercial decision-making genuinely matter. You’ll take ownership of high-risk accounts while working closely with senior stakeholders in a specialist lending environment.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, balancing commercial outcomes with customer considerations, and working autonomously within a collaborative team. You’ll be trusted to make informed recommendations, contribute to process improvements, and play a visible role within a growing recoveries function.
Package & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of complex arrears and litigation cases, recommending suitable recovery and exit strategies.
• Liaise with borrowers, legal representatives, receivers, and internal stakeholders to progress cases effectively.
• Review borrower affordability, asset positions, and supporting documentation to minimise losses and optimise outcomes.
• Support ongoing improvements to recoveries processes, reporting, and early identification of potential bad debts.
About You
• Experience within litigation, recoveries, arrears, or collections in financial services or specialist lending.
• Ability to manage complex borrower cases involving financial difficulty and legal escalation.
• Experience working with legal processes, external partners, and recovery strategies within a regulated environment.
