Location: Hackney
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + overtime rates
Hours: 40 hours per week (flexibility required for out of hours and weekends)
We are currently working with a well-established compliance business that, due to continued growth and contract wins, is now looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team in the Hackney area. This role will suit a motivated professional with a solid water hygiene background who enjoys working independently, liaising with clients, and producing clear, practical recommendations to help ensure full compliance and safety.
The Role
As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will:
* Carry out Legionella risk assessments at client sites in line with current legislation and best practice.
* Produce accurate and detailed risk assessment reports and schematics using specialist software.
* Identify risks and provide practical, actionable recommendations for mitigation and control.
* Liaise directly with clients to explain findings and deliver clear, professional advice.
* Support the implementation of effective water hygiene and monitoring programs.
* Complete on-site inspection reports and ensure systems meet health and safety standards.
* Provide technical guidance on monitoring, maintenance, and disinfection activities for water systems.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Previous experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
* Strong background in water hygiene and compliance.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with clients.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel within the region.
