Career progression opportunities within a reputable companyDuties of the MOT Tester:
Conduct all aspects of MOT testing in accordance with government standards
Support customers through the testing process, providing updates and explanations regarding test results and any necessary repairs
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through excellent service
Support workshop operations by diagnosing and performing vehicle repairs and servicing (where applicable)
Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work within the workshop
Maintain accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements as a MOT Tester
Liaise effectively with team members and customers to support operational efficiencyRequirements:
Valid Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licences
UK driving licence with minimal points
Ideally hold IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Alternatively, extensive time-served experience as a vehicle mechanic with a current MOT licence
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards of safety and quality
