How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Summary

    An experienced and highly motivated recruitment consultant who will be working within the Industrial, Logistics, or Manufacturing markets... temps, within this role you will be working within a fast moving, candidate driven market. You will create business development strategies and calls to attract client’s needs and offer the right recruitment solutions, you will liaise with clients to understand role requirements to source and select the most suitable clients.

    It will be your duty to source, screen, and compile a shortlist of candidates to fill temporary , urgent bookings for their Industrial and Driving clients.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Assist Business Development and Client Attraction.

    Build market maps to understand key employers within your area of specialism.

    Write and post jobs on social media, and any other relevant channel.

    Source candidates for leading global businesses, covering the UK market.

    Screen and Interview candidates to ensure the best candidates are put forward to clients.

    Build a candidate CRM to ensure a solid pipeline of qualified candidates.

    Consult with clients on overall hiring strategies and tailor your approach accordingly.

    Keep up to date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standard assessments

    Build and develop your client portfolio providing expert consultation to ensure repeal business.

    Generate new leads and clients using your network and contacts.

    Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote my clients employer brand and ensure they attract the best candidates

    Qualifications

    A background in the recruitment industry either as a 180 or 360 recruiter is required

    Excellent verbal and communication skills.

    Proven work experience in recruitment ideally within the Industrial, Logistics/Driving or Manufacturing sector's- temps or perms

    * 1+ years working within a recruitment agency

    * Strongly experienced in sales and business development and enjoys the thrill of chasing and winning new business accounts

    Skills Required

    Has a recruitment agency background.

    IT Literate

    A knowledge of how job boards and LinkedIn work.

    Hands-On experience with various online interview formats such as Teams etc

    Worked with Industrial temps or drivers and is up to date with all legal requirements

    Strong tenacity and ability to build a strong network.

    Personal Attributes

    A self-motivated, target-driven mentality with a desire to overachieve.

    Approachable nature.

    Good decision-making skills.

    Ability to operate independently whilst collaborating closely with other team members and peers

    Highly organized and structured.
