HGV Technician

Our client, a reputable Highway Maintenance company based in the Larbert area, is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated team. * Competitive basic salary up to £45,000
* Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00
* Saturdays paid at time and a half
* Additional overtime opportunities paid at time and a half

* On-site training and development, including assistance in obtaining Class 2 Driving Licence and Telehandler Certification for suitable individuals
Duties of the HGV Technician:
* Diagnose, repair, and service a range of HGV vehicles in the workshop
* Fault finding using manual and digital diagnostic tools
* Replace and repair faulty vehicle components
* Prepare repair estimates and discuss work scope with customers
* Maintain accurate vehicle repair records in liaison with transport managers as a HGV Technician
* Order parts and liaise with the stores team to ensure availability
* Support and mentor apprentices or work experience individuals
* Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
* Relevant qualifications, such as Level 3 HGV or Vehicle maintenance certification
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards work and learning opportunities
* Willingness to undertake training, including obtaining Class 2 Driving Licence and Telehandler Certification if not already held
