Year 3 Primary Teacher – Leicester City

A welcoming and diverse primary school in Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their friendly team from August 2026 until December 2026.

This is a full-time, term-time only position working Monday to Friday within a busy and supportive school environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning while contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Role

The successful applicant will:

* Teach a Year 3 class full-time

* Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and be willing to share planning responsibilities

* Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

* Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning

Requirements

Applicants must:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have experience teaching within a primary setting

* Be organised, proactive and a strong team player

* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
