The Opportunity
Are you a Qualified Children's Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding and making a real difference to children and families?
We're recruiting experienced Safeguarding Social Workers to join the Strengthening and Supporting Families Teams in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive service that prioritises high‑quality safeguarding practice, relationship‑based social work, and positive outcomes for children.
Your Role
As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will:
Hold and manage child protection and child in need cases
Undertake robust assessments, planning and interventions
Work directly with children and families to reduce risk and strengthen safety
Contribute to strategy discussions, conferences and core groups
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
Record high‑quality, timely case notes and reports
What We're Looking For
Qualified Children's Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
Proven experience in safeguarding / child protection
Strong assessment, analysis and decision‑making skills
Confident working autonomously while contributing to a team environment
Commitment to relationship‑based, child‑centred practice
