How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Panel Wirer needed/ Chessington/ Full Time

    Location: Chessington (KT9)

    Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)

    Salary: £16- £22 per hour (umbrella or CIS option available)

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Prototype Control Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team based in Greater London. This role focuses on the build, wiring, and development of prototype control panels and telemetry units used within the oil and gas industry. You'll play a key role in turning engineering designs into fully functioning, high-quality products.

    Key Responsibilities

    Wire and assemble complex control panels from schematics and technical drawings
    Build and prototype telemetry units and associated equipment
    Interpret electrical diagrams, layouts, and wiring schedules
    Work closely with design and engineering teams to refine prototype builds
    Identify and resolve wiring and assembly issues during development stages
    Ensure all builds meet quality standards and industry regulations
    Support testing, fault-finding, and validation of completed units
    Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environmentSkills & Experience Required

    Proven experience in control panel wiring (essential)
    Strong background in prototype or bespoke build environments
    Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
    Experience working within manufacturing, ideally in oil & gas or related industries
    Knowledge of telemetry systems (desirable)
    High attention to detail and quality standards
    Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer
