Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for full-time Learning Support Assistants across a group of specialist education settings with sites located in:
Fawley
Dibden
Totton
Ower
The school supports children and young people aged 7–16 with a range of severe and complex needs arising from:
Life trauma
Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
Attachment disorder
Phobias linked to education
These settings provide a highly supportive and nurturing environment, with small class sizes of no more than 4 students per class. Every class is supported by a Teacher alongside either an LSA or pastoral support staff at all times, allowing staff to build meaningful relationships and provide consistent support to each student.
The Role:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Working hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Supporting students both academically and emotionally
Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Helping students regulate emotions, engage with learning and develop confidence
Working as part of a close-knit and supportive team
What We’re Looking For:
Previous SEN, SEMH or behaviour support experience is highly desirable
Experience in education, care, youth work or support settings welcomed
Calm, resilient and patient individuals
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
Full-time availability
