gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Metal Assembly worker to work at their facility based near Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.

Performance Objectives

Responsible for ensuring specific polishing trimming operations are carried out
Fully competent in grinding, drilling, punching and using band saws.
Experience in using measuring equipment such as Vernier callipers/protractors & Micrometers.
Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices - report deviation from H&S good practice immediately.Person Specification

Some basic self-inspection required
Health & Safety Training.
Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment;
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to polishing and spraying machines
Experience in a Metal Polishing / Trimming working environment
Experience of using hand and power tools is essentialApply
