Our client delivers complex, grid-connected energy infrastructure projects across the UK, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), HV infrastructure and associated utility works.
They are seeking a Senior Project Delivery Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for the safe, compliant and successful delivery of projects from detailed design through construction, commissioning and handover into operations.
This is a senior delivery role working across multiple live projects within a technically demanding utilities / power environment.
The role is primarily office-based with regular engagement at site during key delivery phases.

In this role, you’ll act as the senior delivery lead across a portfolio of energy infrastructure projects, including:
* Owning programme, cost, quality, safety and risk across projects
* Leading delivery from detailed design through construction and commissioning
* Managing contractors and consultants under NEC4 contracts
* Coordinating delivery across utility, grid and specialist electrical stakeholders
* Ensuring strong governance, reporting and control throughout delivery
* Acting as the key interface between internal stakeholders and external delivery partners, including DNOs, National Grid, ICPs and principal contractors
* Driving projects through to operational handover with confidence and clarity

* Strong appreciation of health, safety and regulatory compliance within high-risk infrastructure environments
* A practical, delivery-focused mindset with the confidence to lead under pressure
* Experience within energy, power, renewables or utilities is essential
* Candidates without direct experience delivering grid-connected power, utility or energy infrastructure projects are unlikely to be considered
