The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (LGV CE) Drivers for a leading client based in Normanton. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for secure, ongoing work with excellent pay rates and flexible shift patterns.
🚚 The Role
Store deliveries across the region
Mostly loading bay deliveries, with some tail lift work
Mixture of store routes and occasional trunking
Professional, well-organised operation
⏰ Shift Patterns
Midweek and weekend shifts available
Typical start times: 15:00 / 16:00 / 17:00
Occasional earlier starts (from 12:00) if completing a trunk beforehand (advance notice provided)
💰 Pay Rates (Including Holiday Pay Accrual)
🌙 Nights (18:00-04:00): £19.00 per hour
☀️ Days (04:00-18:00): £16.63 per hour
🟡 Saturdays: £21.08 per hour
🔴 Sundays: £27.32 per hour
⏱ Overtime paid after 10 hours
✅ Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
✅ What We're Looking For
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
CPC & Digital Tachograph Card (in date)
Maximum 6 points (no major endorsements)
New passes considered (must pass driving assessment)
Confident with reversing and manoeuvring
Reliable and professional attitude
