Purchasing Assistant / Supply Chain Administrator

We’re working with a growing business in Bedford looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support their operations team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong admin and Excel skills who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and wants to build a long-term career in supply chain or purchasing.

The role

• Raise and manage purchase orders

• Monitor stock levels and flag shortages

• Chase suppliers and manage delivery updates

• Keep systems and data accurate

• Support internal teams with stock queries

What we’re looking for

• Strong Excel and admin skills

• Good attention to detail

• Confident communicator

• Proactive, organised, and reliable

• Keen to learn and develop long-term

Any experience in purchasing, stock control, or SAP is a bonus, not essential.
