How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Shaftesbury East Anglia
Could this be the role that makes a real difference in your career—and in people’s lives?
At Shaftesbury East Anglia, we’re looking for an inspiring and committed Service Delivery Lead to join our passionate team. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in shaping outstanding, person‑centred services that enable people with disabilities to live full, independent and meaningful lives.
Please note: this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as it does not meet the salary requirements set by the Home Office.
    Why work with Shaftesbury?
We believe everyone we support has the right to a full and flourishing life — and the people who work with us are at the heart of making that happen.
Guided by our values — Open, Enabling, Inclusive and Courageous — we are proud to deliver high‑quality, compassionate services across adult care, children’s care and education. We go beyond “good enough”, always striving to deliver the very best outcomes for the people we support.
    About the role
As Service Delivery Lead, you’ll play a vital leadership role across the service. You’ll support, motivate and develop staff, while ensuring people we support receive consistently high‑quality care that is tailored to their individual needs.
    Your responsibilities will include:
Taking full ownership of service delivery, quality and continuous improvement
Developing and embedding effective systems and processes
Supporting staff to deliver professional, flexible and personalised care
Working collaboratively with relevant governing bodies and partners
Contributing to service development and new business opportunities
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who thrives on responsibility, leadership and making a positive impact.
    About you
We’re looking for someone who brings passion, professionalism and commitment to inclusive care.
    You will:
Hold a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards it
Have experience supporting adults with a range of disabilities and support needs
Be confident leading teams and driving service quality
Share our values and belief in person‑centred, community‑focused support
    About our services
Shaftesbury East Anglia provides tailored, person‑centred support for adults with a wide range of disabilities and needs. Our focus is on:
Building independence and daily living skills
Supporting people in their own homes
Encouraging active participation in the local community

Your Birthday Off – Frontline care staff can take their birthday off from annual leave (plus a birthday card from us!)
    Great CQC, Great Reward –
Good rating: £30 gift voucher for all staff
Outstanding rating: £50 gift voucher for all staff
Recognition & Rewards – Personal recognition letters from our Executive Leadership Team and gift vouchers up to £50 for going above and beyond

    25 days + 8 bank holidays (first 5 years)
Increasing to 28 days + 8 bank holidays after 5 years
