How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Resourcer / Candidate Manager
    Talk Recruitment Ltd — Coleshill (North Warwickshire / North Solihull - 8 mins from NEC)

    We are expanding our delivery for repeat clients meaning a consistent flow of live roles and a real need for a dedicated Resourcer who wants to focus on candidates and delivery.

    The role in a sentence

    Be the engine of delivery. You’ll partner with a Recruitment Consultant who manages the client relationship. They provide you signed-off roles; you focus on finding and qualifying the right people at pace.

    Your growth path

    From day one you’ll have a personalised development plan and structured training. You can specialise as a Resourcer and progress to Senior Resourcer, or broaden into Recruitment Consultant with more client contact and an introduction of business development duties. If leadership appeals, there’s a route to Team Leader as you develop.

    What we do

    Founded in 2013, Talk Recruitment places white-collar executive professionals across Construction, Housebuilding and Civil Engineering. Previous experience recruiting in this sector is not essential.

    What you’ll do

    * Run daily candidate interviews (phone/video; occasional in-person).

    * Profile & screen candidates; capture accurate notes in the CRM.

    * Write and post clear, compliant adverts.

    * Search our database, job boards and social networks to build targeted longlists.

    * Prepare CVs and shortlists; brief candidates and manage expectations.

    * Keep pipelines moving: schedule follow-ups, chase feedback, update records.

    * Spot potential client leads and hand them to the Consultant team.

    * Uphold our values: ethical, professional, personable—every interaction, every time.

    * Pitch in across a small team: flexible, patient, and diligent as we grow.

    What you’ll bring

    * 12+ months as a Resourcer or Recruitment Consultant.

    * Strong communication skills: phone, video, email and concise written notes.

    * Comfortable on the phone: yes we said it twice because it’s a big part of what we do.

    * Calm under time pressure; able to juggle priorities without dropping standards.

    * Curiosity about roles and sectors; you ask good questions and listen well.

    * Tidy CRM habits and respect for process—because accuracy wins.

    * Resilience and a practical, solutions-first approach.

    * A desire to improve and grow in your role.

    Where you’ll work

    Chantry House, Coleshill—a landmark building with modern offices and free parking. Town-centre amenities on the doorstep (shops, gym, hairdressers, restaurants) and a Costa opposite. Easy access to M6, M6 Toll, M42, plus a bus stop right outside.

    * 25 days’ holiday, rising to 30 with service (plus bank holidays)
