We’re looking for a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our clients busy Whitstable production team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced print environment and enjoys taking ownership of high‑quality digital print output from file creation to final production.

Responsibilities:

* Create print‑ready files — preparing artwork to production standards, ensuring accuracy, colour consistency, and correct file formatting.

* Operate digital presses — running and maintaining digital print equipment, monitoring output quality, and troubleshooting minor issues.

* Manage print production workflow — coordinating jobs through the production schedule to meet deadlines.

* Add T‑cards into workflow system — updating job status and ensuring all work is tracked accurately through the internal system.

* Quality‑checking printed materials to ensure they meet customer and production standards.

* Collaborating with the wider production team to maintain smooth, efficient operations.

About You:

* Experience working in a digital print environment.

* Confident using print‑ready file creation tools, and digital press machinery.

* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline‑driven setting.

* Good organisational skills, especially when managing multiple jobs in production.
