Key responsibilities as Experienced Butcher
Breaking down larger carcasses received in quarters
Preparing and processing meat for retail sale
Working across a range of proteins including beef, lamb, poultry, and goat
Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer-facing counter service
Supporting day-to-day shop and retail operations
Working collaboratively within a small butchery team
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation
What we’re looking for in an Experienced Butcher
Have proven experience as a butcher with strong technical skills
Be confident working with multiple species
Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Be comfortable working both behind the scenes and on the retail counter
Have strong communication and customer service skills
Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team
Working hours:
Day shifts, approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm
