How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to join a well-established food manufacturing operation. 

    This role is ideal for someone with experience in production or food environments who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory position or build on existing leadership experience within a fast-paced setting.

    What you’ll be doing as Production Supervisor
    You will support the day-to-day running of production by supervising teams, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, and performance.

    Supervising production teams to meet output and efficiency targets
    Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
    Managing workflow and supporting shift performance
    Coaching and supporting team members to improve performance
    Monitoring attendance, performance, and behaviour on shift
    Communicating effectively with management and other departments
    What we’re looking for in a Production Supervisor

    Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
    Previous team leader or supervisory experience (or ready to step up)
    Strong communication and organisational skills
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
    Reliable, flexible, and able to manage changing priorities
    Willingness to work required shift patterns and adapt to future changes
    Shift Patterns
    AM Shift

    Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 15:00
    Friday: 06:00 – 14:30
    PM Shift

    Tuesday to Friday: 15:00 – 22:30
    Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00
    Both shifts require flexibility, including starting earlier or finishing later when needed.
    There is an expectation of future changes to shift patterns, including earlier start times, potentially on a permanent basis.
