How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for an experienced and reliable Air Conditioning Engineers to join our clients growing team based in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial and residential sites.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Install, service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems

    * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs

    * Work on split systems, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems, and ventilation equipment

    * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits

    * Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations

    * Accurately complete job sheets and service reports

    * Provide professional and friendly customer service on-site

    * Participate in overtime and call-out rota when required

    Requirements

    * Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer

    * F-Gas Category 1 certification essential

    * Full UK driving licence

    * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

    * Experience with leading manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, or Fujitsu

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    * Good communication and organisational skills

    Desirable Qualifications

    * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

    * IPAF and PASMA certifications

    * Experience working on commercial contracts
