Gas Repairs Officer (Housing)

Local authority in Northamptonshire currently require a Gas Repairs Officer for an initial period of three months. Likely to be ongoing work.

Purpose of the role: To be part of the day-to-day operational management of the Council’s Repairs and Maintenance Team and Contractors, providing a high quality and cost effective repairs and maintenance function ensuring the Council as a landlord is compliant with its statutory and legal obligations.

Candidates must have:

Technical qualification and accreditation allowing for the supervision of gas works: The Gas Safety (Installation and use) regulations 1998.

Must hold valid UK driving licence - travel to site. ( mileage paid )

37 hours per week

£35 an hour umbrella

Office / Site Based

3 months initially, likely to be on-going work
