Salary: Up to £33,000
My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a growing and fast-paced organisation based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional with client payroll experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
* Process end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
* Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and within strict deadlines
* Submit RTIs and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
* Process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP
* Manage pension submissions and payroll reconciliations
* Handle payroll queries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner
* Process BACS payments and maintain accurate payroll records
* Support with year-end payroll activities including P60s and P11Ds where required
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience processing client payrolls is essential
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and UK payroll legislation
* Ability to manage multiple payrolls and prioritise workload effectively
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Experience using ADP is desirable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
