An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to join a specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) within an inpatient setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for young people presenting with complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for young people.
* Develop psychological formulations to inform care and treatment planning.
* Provide consultation and support to multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Undertake risk assessments and contribute to clinical decision-making.
* Deliver individual, group, and family-based interventions where appropriate.
* Support service evaluation, audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures.
Candidate Requirements
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent recognised qualification).
* Registration with an appropriate professional regulatory body.
* Experience working with children and adolescents in mental health settings.
* Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
